Training
Would you like to have more fun with your dog and use his natural skills? If so I can assist in training in such skills as tracking, searching, both for people and property and agility in addition to the normal obedience. All this training will be done on a one-to-one basis. There is no benefit in walking round a church hall with large numbers of other dogs!
Equipment advice and supply
A large variety of good quality leads, harnesses and other dog training equipment can be supplied. A full list together with prices can be obtained on request.
Dog Selection
If you are not sure what breed of dog is right for you or where to go to get him or her, or even more important where not to go, contact me for impartial advice. Lets put the ‘puppy farmers’ out-of-business and only use reputable breeders. I can offer advice for a smooth introduction of your puppy into your home especially if you have children.
After Dinner Speaking
Available for talks to clubs and societies and as an after dinner speaker. I can talk not only on dog related matters including ‘dog listening’ techniques and other training methods or can speak about policing across five decades. Hear about the anti Vietnam demonstrations, the IRA bombing campaign of the seventies, and much much more. Learn about such characters as Nos Gumbs Britains first black policeman and Howard Eastaugh who twice stopped the Queen in the royal car on her way to a function, and who said afterwards “I thought she looked familiar”. And of course many tails of police dogs.
